What does Brandi call these types of things? Meeme's? These are definitely thought provoking...

I cannot BELIEVE you didn't list Popeye as a show you watched as a kid. I think you truly believed the earth would stop revolving if you didn't get your Popeye fix in the afternoon after school. :) What fun memories.

Ha, ha! I DO remember Popeye! And I remember that TINY little portable black and white TV Pappy had. That screen couldn't have been more than 5".

It was 5" exactly. They finally graduated to a really big TV!

Well, since this post is still at the top of the list, I guess it's still okay if I still comment!

So, what is it about one-on-one conversations that bothers you?

Not exactly the appropriate post for this, but...

Happy Anniversary!

AJ, I don't know exactly. Put me in front of a 1,000 people and I'm as cool as a cucumber and I can get as deep and personal as anyone. But the more intimate the setting, the more uncomfortable I am.

Weird, I know.

I guess I am very much the opposite because I can talk one on one to just about anyone and talk about just about anything, but get me in front of more than 10 people and my heart starts pounding, my hands get sweaty, my mind goes blank, my tongue gets twisted up over simple words ...... it's a fright! I must say I have been doing better recently, though, since I started this job and was the coordinator of the women's group for 2 years and had to 'speak' at each monthly meeting so I kind of got used to it and it's not nearly as bad as it used to be. But still, it's not something I enjoy doing.
